The most vibrant of the small coastal villages in the Western Port District, Blind Bight, with its new housing estate and Community Centre, is the focal point for other centres such as Warneet, Cannons Creek and Tooradin. It has developed significantly since the 1970s but still retains characteristic coastal vegetation such as tea-tree groves and is home to a number of water-based recreational activities.
