Scott Alley

Located between Elizabeth and Swanston streets, Scott Alley extends south from Flinders Lane. The right-of-way was formed prior to 1856 as Hotham Place, named after Governor of Victoria Sir Charles Hotham. It was renamed Scott Alley in 1906. In 1935, the Bible House Chambers, which housed the British & Foreign Bible Society and some manufacturing agents, occupied Scott Alley.
