Letter from the Manager for Victoria notifying the Town Clerk that he need not pay Workers' Compensation to one Ernest Maddox, who had an accident at an electric supply station, because he was not absent from work for very long.
Letter, typewritten in blue ink. Letterhead features on the left a picture of the Queensland Building in William St, and on the right in large block letters "Queensland Insurance Company Ltd.", above "Fire, Marine, Accident, Live Stock". There is also the pragmatic instruction "Please address all correspondence to "The Manager" and not to individual officers by name otherwise delays may occur".
