Brights Place

Brights Place (also formerly Alley/Lane) leads north from Little Lonsdale Street on the block between King and William streets. In 1895, a copperworks occupied most of the buildings on the west side of the dead-end. The area was highly industrial, and contained a storage and contracting company, ironworks and timber yard. Brights Place now allows pedestrian traffic to pass through to Flagstaff Station and the Flagstaff Gardens, slicing between the buildings of the Commonwealth Law Complex.
