Kirks Lane

Kirks Lane is located off Little Bourke Street between Queen and Elizabeth streets. The lane was previously known as Vinge Alley and Vengeance Alley. In 1920, Kirks Lane included the businesses of collar makers, printers, a bulk store. By 1950, there was a factory, two storage spaces and Chaffey's Spring Works in the lane.
