Mercantile Place

Mercantile Place runs between Katherine Place and King Street. The Inspector of Nuisances, John Fullerton, noted on 11 April 1891 that the then unnamed right-of-way required immediate attention due to its filthy condition. Fullerton also noted that the right-of-way was so old that he could not determine whether it had been made by the City Council or privately.
