Barrett Alley

Barrett Alley once ran north off Chancery Lane (now Little Collins Street) between Queen and William streets. It was probably an access lane for the building on the corner of Little Collins and Queen streets. By 1961, new clubrooms had been built over the top of Barrett Alley. These housed the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria until the club moved to a new building at 501 Bourke Street in 2005.
