Cosgrave Place

Cosgrave Place was a short dead-end laneway just west of Cosgrave Lane, off Little Bourke Street between Spencer and King Streets. It was unnamed in 1895, but contained a bottle store and machinery yard. In the 1980s, CitiPower moved its power station from the large block on Lonsdale and Spencer streets, to 628 Bourke Street, and in so doing demolished Cosgrave Place.
