Crown Place

Crown Place leads south from Lonsdale Street near its intersection with Queen Street. The dead-end laneway was named for the Crown Hotel, which once occupied the corner of Lonsdale and Queen streets. In 1895, the laneway contained the residence of James Thomson, and the Bloomfield Brothers contractors' stores. An apartment building currently occupies Crown Place.
