Lily Lane was located off Bourke Street. In 1910, the Blue Bell Livery Stables were located in the lane. By 1920, there was a factory added to the lane and the Blue Bell stables retained their position. In 1930, there was a store in the lane run by John McIlwraith, as well as Wilson's Motor service and metal workers.
