Robbs Lane

Located between King and William streets and extending north from Flinders Lane, Robbs Lane was named prior to 1911. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, property developer Grollo Australia Ptd Lty acquired the lane from the City of Melbourne and in 1981 commenced construction of the Rialto Towers (525 Collins Street), which now stand on the site of Robbs Lane.
