Watson Place

Located between Swanston and Russell streets, Watson Place extends north from Flinders Lane. It was named pre-1860, when Love McKersie and Co. was known to have occupied this lane for a warehousemen business. During World War I, an old brick warehouse was used by the Salvation Army as a dry canteen from 1916 to 1920.
