Zevenboom Lane

Located between Queen and Elizabeth streets, Zevenboom Lane extends north from Little Lonsdale Street. It was named in 1916 after Dutch-born brush manufacturer John (Jan) Zevenboom. Zevenboom was also a councillor for the Melbourne City Council. In 1935, the only business in this lane was Zevenboom's Mill & Store.
