Letter, handwritten in black ink. Letterhead features a small logo in the top left: "Haigh Bros. Tailors & Outfitters" inside a flower motif. Legend across the centre of the letterhead reads "Under the Distinguished Patronage of Their Excellencies:-", which is underwritten by the ornate coats-of-arms of sic "Excellencies": Lord Brassey, the Earl of Hopetoun, Sir Reginald Talbot, Lord Northcote, Sir T. Gibson-Carmichael, and the Earl of Dudley, in an arc across the centre of the letter.
